The City of Brooklyn (not necessarily the same one that the Beastie Boys were destined for, though I haven't checked the history on that) is along Historic Hwy 6 and is also home to the popular Brooklyn Raceway: "The Wildest Show on Dirt". Check out their Facebook page if you're interested.
